The food we eat turns on or off genes in our body to determine our health today and tomorrow.

I believe the most impactful thing we can do for our health is to optimize the foods that we eat in a day. Changing our diet can be hard but very rewarding. ✨Eat real food. Eat food that that supports your biochemistry.

Supplements can be amazing and are often a part of a comprehensive plan but they aren’t the answer to all of our problems. When used appropriately, supplements can help to address the root cause of a health concern and/or treat symptoms so they're more manageable.

Supplements are not a quick fix but they do have an important & powerful role! 💊

There’s a TON of research for different supplements but we can’t forget about the foundations. Ideally we’re getting the majority of our nutrients from food and consider supplements supplemental to our diet or used for targeted treatment with a specific purpose! 🙌🏼

Always work with a professional when taking supplements as they can interact with medications, with other supplements and really, you want to make sure you’re doing the best thing for your individual circumstances.
