You've Got to Nourish to Flourish



What do you need to grow and thrive? Flourishing takes a lot of strategic and spontaneous self-care. Taking care of yourself and doing things to feed your body and soul should be a priority!☝🏼 It’s hard to achieve anything without setting yourself up for success and nourishing yourself along the way. I just finished a summer full of studying for NPLEX II (Naturopathic Physicians Licensing Exam) and the Ontario Clinical Exam/Boards so that I can hopefully get my naturopathic license this fall. Despite the huge weight of these exams, I didn’t spend every day studying😮. I scheduled social days & nights, and had exciting plans/events throughout the summer that helped to motivate me and keep me happy! Food is a non-negotiable for me. I ate tons of veggies, healthy fats and good quality protein to fuel my busy brain. I also worked part-time at a local health food store and took lots of breaks to go for walks, the gym, make something creative, tend to my garden, or just CHILL. And sometimes you just need a delicious treat or a long phone call with a loved one and a good laugh 💕. Now I’m spending as much time swimming with my golden retrievers 🐶 Nourish your body, soul and heart to make you happy and healthy so that you can flourish (the way nature intended) 🤗
